Bombot Ready to Go!

I just came across this story on Defense Industry Daily about the Bombot. This robot was the primary design target for the GC-205, one of the projects I’ve been working on at Nomadio for the past year or so.

When I get some pictures of these things in-theatre I’ll post them here.

We’ve Moved! (well, virtually)

If you’re reading this within a week or so of the post date, you’ll probably notice an ugly temporary URL in your address bar.

I’ve finally decided it’s time to give in and let a real hosting provider handle my web presence, partly due to lack of time to really keep up with all the security patches, etc, required, and mostly because my backup scripts are starting to get file access errors, leading me to believe that the hard disk on my Gentoo Linux box is on the verge of a nasty death.

So, I decided to give a commercial web host a try. 1&1 seemed to have decent features for a good price ($2.99/month is something even I can afford), so here we are.
