My First Post

This is my first post using WordPress. This will most certainly be deleted some time soon, but for now here it is.

Of course, if I were to say it in the lingua franca of my chosen profession, it might look more like:

    int main(void) {
        printf("Hello world!\n");
    }

but that would be excessively geeky.

It might be nice to make this a bit longer, but I really want to move on to getting something meaningful in here, so TTFN.

Structured Procrastination

Straight from Stanford: the
benefits of procrastination
. See? I haven’t been updating this page because I had nothing
more important to do… or something….

New and Improved!!!

Ok, so I finally got tired of this page being A: nothing but a list of links, and B: the height of 1994 web styling (minus the blink tags). I came across the Open Source Web Design (OSWD) website, found a template I liked (Sliqua by Phlash) and got to work.

Sadly, this is all pretty static at this point, so adding content isn’t as easy as it could be, and the bookmark menus to the left can’t be collapsed and expanded, but it works for now, and should only improve with time. Maybe I’ll even get it to the point where Susan starts adding content again!

update: Clearly this applies to the old version of this page. I’m just keeping this around for posterity…
